Operational greenhouse gas footprint (material sites and fuels)

The availability of both the Bayswater and Loy Yang A power stations was higher in FY24 leading to higher generation and emissions volumes from these assets. There were no emissions from Liddell Power Station in FY24 following its closure in April 2023.

Notes

Data includes Scope 1 emissions for material fuels and Scope 2 emissions. Macquarie Shared Services emissions are apportioned to Bayswater and Liddell power stations. Following the closure of the Liddell Power Station in FY23 emissions from Macquarie Shared Services have now been included in the Bayswater Power Station.

AGL Loy Yang includes emissions associated with the Loy Yang A Power Station and the Loy Yang Mine.

Greenhouse gas emissions have been calculated in accordance with National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act methodologies.

Figures have been rounded to the nearest ktCO2e.
