Workplace giving
In FY24, AGL implemented a new Workplace Giving platform that went live in May 2024. The new platform enables employees to set up regular payroll donations as well as one-off donations for fundraising. Previously, one-off fundraising donations could not be made from employees' payroll, hence the data was reported separately.
Fundraising data includes employee donations (FY24: $54,870) as well as AGL matching (FY24: $56,335). In FY24, AGL implemented a new Workplace Giving platform that went live in May 2024. From FY24, AGL will report all employee donations (fundraising or regular donations to individual charities) as total workplace giving. AGL's Workplace Giving Policy is to match individual employee payroll donations up to $5,000 per year. |
Matched amounts are included in the financial year in which the employee donations were made (though the matched payment may have been made after the close of the financial year). |

Data was previously reported separately as payroll giving donations and fundraising event donations. From FY24 onward these have been consolidated. Historical data has been adjusted to incorporate both amounts. |
